Forum - Billy the Kid show tonight
0 | There's going to be a show on the Discovery Channel tonight about Billy the Kid (check your local listings). It's called Billy the Kid Unmasked. It should be very interesting for those who enjoy Old West (or outlaw!) history. Here's a link to the Flash presentation[/URL] on the Discovery Channel site. Move your mouse around the screen to explore different features which provide details about his history. Kell |

0 | Set up my VCR to record it before going to bed and watched it this morning while waiting to go to work. Another thing that was not featured about Brushy Bill that I had read is that he was illiterate whereas Billy the Kid could read and write and I think his letters still exist and are on display somewhere(?). I'm wondering - wouldn't the dimes that Bob Ollinger was suppose to use in his shotgun shells have actually damaged the inside of the barrel? I do believe that Pat Garrett did indeed kill Billy the Kid whether the actual accounts are true or not. |

0 | I saw the show and I felt like there was something missing. It seemed like it stirred more controvery than gave answers...to me anyway but it was great to watch. |

0 | Billy is my Cousin by Marriage. There is a whole lot that is left out of the Story of Billy that I am personally privy to, for information. I have every moment, or very nearly thereabouts, researched, both on Paper and communications from and with him. Yes, Billy and I are Very close. But then, I am also planning to write a Book on my Researched findings by possibly the end of this year, provided that I can get to travelling around NM and parts of Eastern AZ this Summer. One thing also, is the facts that Brushy and John Miller present, are those things passed down in the family, as they are cousins to Billy and I both, mutually. John Miller comes in on my Dodson/Miller line outr of Kingman, AZ., Brushy comes in on my Roberts line, that branches somewhere off my Dodsons, into Texas. So, this knowledge they had would not be all that uncommon. Plus, I have it duly Paper Proven that during the Lincoln Co., NM War, Billy did often fight alongside and even against many different Cousins and other Relative Relations. This, I believe is the case with John and Brushy. That Billy may have well known or fought alongside of both men, at one time or another, but may not have known them personally, by any stretch of the imagination. As well, I have it Paper Proven that Billy was Married, with 4 Children; 1 Daughter and 3 Sons. The final child born after his Father Billy's Demise at the hands of Pat Garrett. |
